Looking for an experienced private Gardener to come daily and care for a historical gardens including a walled garden in a country estate between Harlow and Ware. Monday to Friday.
A friendly professional who is experienced in garden management and propagating. They want to find someone who enjoys a walled kitchen garden and can grow a wide range of produce.
Able to work on your own but part of a small, friendly, family-like team -its a farm style environment relaxed and friendly for a dog friendly person and with a Driving Licence.
Gardening:
- Caring for vegetable garden – crop rotation etc
- Caring for flower beds.
- Weeding, dead heading, pruning, cutting back, planting and watering.
- Looking after flower pots and bulbs/tubers, watering weekends when required.
- Leaf raking, digging, managing compost/mulching.
- Propagation of plants
- Monitoring Irrigation
- To be able to prioritise work
- Maintenance of machinery and liaising with garden contractors
