Housekeeper Wanted £35k plus separate accommodation
As Housekeeper of this private residence, you will be responsible for the smooth running of housekeeping operations. Overseeing the day-to-day duties of a small team of domestic staff, you will deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.You will be personally responsible for cleaning rooms, as well as ensuring all household linen is cared for and cleaning material stock is replenished regularly.
You will also perform some front-of-house duties, such as receiving guests and serving refreshments and meals. Possessing straightforward cooking skills, on occasion, you may be required to prepare a light meal.
Playing a key role in all domestic staff matters, you'll be able to motivate your team, inspiring them to deliver their very best.
You will identify and resolve any necessary maintenance works in order to ensure the household is kept safe and secure.
You will be required to carry out valeting duties, which will include the preparation and care of clothes.
This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing skills in a varied and challenging role. Having worked in a Private Household, or similar role within the hospitality industry, you’ll have significant previous experience of housekeeping and cleaning.
Being meticulous with a close attention to detail, you are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and care.
As a highly organised individual with good initiative, you are able to prioritise and time manage your daily tasks effectively.
Possessing a pro-active and hands-on attitude, you will be able to work effectively and flexibly as part of a small team.
As an effective team leader, you’ll have the ability to plan workloads and motivate individuals to achieve high standards.
Basic cooking skills along with a valid driving licence are desirable.
What’s most important is your positive and friendly nature, which will enable you to build effective relationships, both internally and externally.
