London based Kensington - looking for a Housekeeper Laundress to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday for a a couple British and American who work internationally and their family.
Working with a friendly team (there is a driver so you do not need to drive - a PA and a super House manager Cook who helps keep the household and the children's lives running smoothly and does all the shopping and errands )-Keeping house clean and tidy throughout the day. General laundry and care of fine clothes such as cashmere and ironing. The sheets are all sent out so overseeing this with a laundry company.
Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, china, collectibles, crystal and silver polishing

The reason it is offered as a live in rather than daily is it will be a split shift job as the big help is needed when the children get up and go to school - and oversee the clean up after dinner a
If you live in North Kensington and could do the role daily then that can also be considered.
The role offers a live in private bedroom and bathroom.
If you have a place of your own and prefer to be a weekly live in you can work Monday to Friday and have the weekends at your own place - but the bedroom bathroom is private on a separate floor with your own entrance and access to a separate staff kitchen and utility room.
Otherwise you can plan your day then take a break for the afternoon - self manage your time circa 40 hours as long as all is clean tidy and organised.
If there is any work at the weekend it will be offered in advance and if you can do this it will be paid separately or you can have time off in lieu. The family do travel and spend the summer in South of France from June 10th - and also the winter they go to Mirabel.
If you enjoy travel and would like to go overseas with the family this would be welcomed - they have staff in both locations but the extra hand is appreciated.
Child friendly - or family orientated and The family also have three cats.
