Gardener/Maintenance
Should be experienced in garden management and propagating.
They want to find someone who loves a kitchen garden and can grow a wide range of produce.
Opportunity to come up with new ideas. Important to be able to work on own but part of a small, friendly, family-like team Must be a dog friendly person and have a clean Driving Licence.
Gardening:
- Caring for vegetable garden – crop rotation etc
- Caring for flower beds.
- Weeding, dead heading, pruning, cutting back, planting and watering.
- Looking after flower pots and bulbs/tubers, watering weekends when required.
- Leaf raking, digging, managing compost/mulching.
- Propagation of plants
- Monitoring Irrigation
- To be able to prioritise work
- Maintenance of machinery and liaising with garden contractors
