Working for an English family with two children , The family have an enjoyable family lifestyle travelling internationally during the school holidays. The children are aged 2 and 5 and the household is energetic, lively, and informal.
The role will include housekeeping duties such as daily cleaning and tidying, deep cleaning, and keeping on top of all laundry. A driver is essential and holiday travel will be offered.
Seeking a kind caring all rounder Family housekeeper to help a family of 4 – a couple and 2 children in their lovely country home.
This super role is full time Mon - Fri, 8 to 5 with an hour for lunch – a rural location, so it would need to be someone who loves the Countryside and a car.

Holiday: 28 days (incl. bank holidays)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (subject to experience)

Housekeeping
General household cleaning and tidying (keeping the home well-kept, neat, and organised)
Daily cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms and maintaining living spaces
Deep cleaning (incl. frequent cleaning of the ovens etc.)
Making and changing all beds within the home
All hoovering, dusting and polishing furniture and décor
Cleaning the inside of windows
Family cooking - family favourites for dinner and any baking much appreciated - if you enjoy cooking they are not looking for a chef just being able to follow recipes and have a family meal in the evening.
Laundry
Assuming full charge of household laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Having knowledge of a wide range of textiles and their specific care instructions
Mending clothing (tears, buttons, hems) and sewing children’s name tapes
Hand washing and handling stain removal
Familiarity with eco-friendly, non-toxic cleansers and detergents
Purchasing and re-ordering housekeeping and laundry supplies
liaising regarding property maintenance or repairs
Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, etc.
Organising cupboard
Answering the door and receiving deliveries
Watering household plants and flower arranging
Infrequently accompanying the family on holidays (always agreed in advance)
an occasional Saturday option once a month if guests for a weekend to help out with time given back in lieu.
ABOUT YOU
The family are looking for a professional, discreet, energetic, and proactive housekeeper, with experience with a can-do attitude and initiative.
Several years private household experience in the same or similar sized home
organised with attention to detail

Discretion and loyalty
independent work ethic and time management skills
communication skills and good command of the English language
Must be eligible to work in UK
Non-smoker is essential
